“I remember career day in fourth grade. That’s when I knew I wanted to become a nurse. I started making that dream come true with my first job, running ice water and making beds in a nursing home. I continued my studies and continued my CNA which I followed with my IAA license, graduating from BOCES in 2020.
I live by this motto: work hard, play harder. Thanks to this, I can continue to plan vacations and create memories for my children. I am a mother of four children. They are between 3 and 15 years old. I have always put family first.
I like to go on quad rides with my buddy Jeremy. And I like to relax by a good fire. Spending time with my children outdoors is something I look forward to every day. When I’m not enjoying these things, you’ll surprise me in the stands as the number one fan of my cheerleader, basketball, football, soccer and track stars.
I currently work at Fort Hudson Per Diem and as the Full Unit Manager of the Rehabilitation Unit at Glens Falls Center. As a health care provider, I find it difficult to balance work and family life. I’m still trying to figure this out, but I’d say I’m doing pretty well. I look forward to the days when I can see patients go home. I know I did my part to help them gain the strength and the ability to do so.
