Midwestern University’s annual Health Careers Institute for high school students takes place in July and the registration deadline is approaching.
With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions on campus, the event will be held entirely in person, which means the return of hands-on activities, presentations and informative discussions. The Health Careers Institute for High School Students is a free educational opportunity for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to explore a variety of health professions, and runs from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Friday July 15 to Saturday July 23. .
The Glendale campus is located at 19555 N. 59th Ave.
Forty-eight high school sophomores, juniors and seniors will be selected through an application process. Applications can be submitted through Google Forms and are due Sunday, May 1.
This year there is a new digital registration process that allows students to record short videos to balance their application letters and transcripts.
