Singing River Health System plans to hold a job fair this coming Monday.
Singing River Health System is back with another job fair at a much needed time. The fair will take place on February 7and at the Win Center in Gulfport from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Scout Taylor Nations said: “Basically you’ll come to the event, you’ll sit with us, we’ll talk to you, we’ll see what position best suits your needs and then we’ll go to a computer and we can go there. file a claim right away.
Clinical and non-clinical jobs will be available and guests will be able to speak to recruiters in person. Visitors are not required to bring anything to attend the event, but a resume is recommended. Recruiter Vanessa Raines said: “Even if you have no idea what you want to do, just bring a CV and we can analyze it and place you where you fit best.”
While jobs of all types are available, many clinical positions such as registered nurses are in desperate need of help due to shortages caused by COVID. Heather Rowley, Singing River’s Chief Nursing Officer, said: ‘Our nursing staff are not just day-to-day, but shift-to-shift, so we are looking at our staff every day all day. Right now we have nurses who are sick.
If you are unable to make it to this fair, the hospital plans to host others on the first Monday of each month. “We are thrilled to have this event and hope everyone can come and see what we have to offer.”
